Lomez told me the “big money” is hiding in the cloud, and he’s RIGHT! Look at the DATA! MSFT jumped 7.57% to 450.24. This isn’t just a stock; it’s a STALWART on steroids! But don’t let the shiny lights blind you. Peter Lynch says you have to look at the EARNINGS GROWTH compared to the price. If the P/E is lapping the growth rate like a hungry greyhound, you’re in the DANGER ZONE!
The Cloud is Raining Gold (And Some Sludge)
The movement in software is ABSURD! SNOW melted upward by 48.4% to 255.55! OKTA followed the vibe, screaming up 33.64%! This is pure Lynchian “Fast Grower” territory, but you have to check the balance sheet! Does the cash cover the burn? Or are they just burning furniture to keep the room warm?
Meanwhile, ZS (Zscaler) took a massive 23.38% DIVE to 139.73. That is the sound of a valuation popping! When a company misses the “Reasonable Price” part of Growth At A Reasonable Price (GARP), the exit door gets very small, very fast!
CHIPS, SHIPS, AND SPACE SUITS
I’m seeing things! SPCE (Virgin Galactic) went vertical—UP 90.74%! TO 6.18! Is there a business there? Lynch would call this a “Story Stock,” and usually, the story ends with your wallet in a black hole! Unless they have actual earnings, it’s just expensive fireworks!
Then you have the chip wars. MU (Micron) is THUMPING the table at 971.0, up 29.29%! AMD surged 10.39%, while NVDA actually slipped 1.95% to 211.14. The “system” is rotating! People are sniffing out the next leg of the cycle. You can’t just buy what you know; you have to know what you’re BUYING!
The Fundamental Reality Check
Listen to me! You cannot navigate this madness with “vibes” alone! You need a fundamental stock screener app to cut through the static! When CRSR (Corsair) jumps 57.66% in a week, you don’t just jump in—you check the DEBT-TO-EQUITY! Is the company owned by the bank, or do they actually own their chairs?
HOOD (Robinhood) is flying at 94.3, up 28.06%. People are trading like it’s 1999, but Lynch taught us that the best time to buy is when the “boring” companies are ignored. Look at IBM—up 17.32% to 297.8. It’s an old-timer, but it’s PRINTING cash!
ENERGY DRAIN AND THE RETAIL REBOUND
While the tech geeks are celebrating, the oil patch is LEAKING! XOM fell 6.24% and CVX dropped 4.69%. The global “Market Vibe” is jittery about energy demand, and the charts show it! If the P/E is low but the industry is dying, it’s a VALUE TRAP!
But look at the oddballs! RDDT (Reddit) climbed 24.23% to 176.0. CHWY jumped 8.73%. Even PTON (Peloton) is trying to crawl out of the basement, up 12.08%! But remember: a turnaround is only a turnaround if they stop LOSING MONEY! Check the PEG ratio! If the growth isn’t there to justify the multiple, you’re just buying a very expensive exercise bike.
